ORDINANCE 04-08

 

               AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR AND DETERMINE THE

               RATE, AMOUNT AND METHOD OF PAYMENT OF

               COMPENSATION TO PERSONS HOLDING CERTAIN OFFICES

               AND POSITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT IN THE BOROUGH OF

               HILLSDALE, COUNTY OF BERGEN, STATE OF NEW JERSEY.

 

     BE IT ORDAINED by the Borough Council of the Borough of Hillsdale, in the County of Bergen, and State of New Jersey as follows:

 

     SECTION 1.  The rate of compensation of persons holding any of the hereafter named offices and positions of employment, which compensation shall be on an annual basis unless otherwise specified, is hereby fixed and determined to be as set opposite the title of each of the hereinafter named offices and positions of employment.  Whenever there shall be set forth a minimum and maximum rate of compensation the employee or officer shall be compensated at an annual rate within such range.

 

     SECTION 2.  Each employee set forth in this Section shall receive annual compensation as set forth below.

SECTION 5.  The compensation fixed and determined by this Ordinance for the persons holding the respective offices and positions of employment herein named, shall, except as otherwise provided by statute, ordinance or resolution, be in lieu of all other fees, costs and charges received and collected by such offices and employees shall be remitted promptly to the Borough Treasurer.

 

SECTION 6.  All ordinances and resolutions inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed as to such inconsistencies.

 

SECTION 7.  This ordinance shall take effect immediately after final passage, approval and publication of notice thereof as required by law, and the provisions of this Ordinance shall be retroactive to January 1, 2004.
