ORDINANCE NO. 05-06

 

                                    AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING VARIOUS SALARIES FOR

                                    THE HILLSDALE RECREATION DEPARTMENT FOR THE YEAR

                                    2005 IN THE BOROUGH OF HILLSDALE, COUNTY OF

                                    BERGEN, STATE OF NEW JERSEY.

 

BE IT ORDAINED by the Borough Council of the Borough of Hillsdale, in the County of Bergen, and State of New Jersey as follows:

 

SECTION 1.  The compensation of all personnel whose services are required as general counselor for the operation of the Borough of Hillsdale-Summer Day Camp Program 2005 is as follows:

Counselor entering sophomore Yr./College-9/05        $8.00 per hr.                          240 hr.

Counselor entering Junior Yr./College-9/05                    $8.50 per hr.                            240 hr.

Counselor entering Senior Yr./College-9/05                    $9.00 per hr.                            240 hr.

 

***Camp Hillsdale Experience Benefit

A flat rate of $25.00 will be applied for every PAID year of Camp Hillsdale experience, previous camp staff have with the Borough of Hillsdale.  This adjustable experience benefit will be paid at the completion of the 2005 Summer Day Camp Season, August of 2005.

 

SECTION 2.  Summer Camp Program Specialist/Program Area:

***Camp Hillsdale Experience Benefit***

A flat rate of $25.00 will be applied for every PAID year of Camp Hillsdale experience, previous camp staff have with the Borough of Hillsdale.  This adjustable experience benefit will be paid at the completion of the 2005 Summer Day Camp Season, August of 2005.

 

SECTION 3.  The Range Salary amount to be paid to an Assistant Camp Director:

                          $3,000 to $5,000 (Based on applicant’s related camp experience)

                          for the 2005 Summer Camp Season

 

SECTION 4.  Additional Hourly increments may be earned for the following Recognized Certifications:

SECTION 5.  The compensation of all personnel whose services are required as Program Supervisors for the Recreation Commission Programs is as follows:

SECTION 6.  The compensation fixed and determined by this ordinance for the person holding the respective office and position of employment herein named, shall, except as otherwise provided by statute, ordinance or resolution, be in lieu of all other fees, costs and charges received and collected by such office and employee shall be remitted promptly to the Borough Treasurer.

 

SECTION 7.  All ordinances and resolutions inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed as to such inconsistencies.

 

SECTION 8.  This ordinance shall take effect immediately after final passage, approval and publication of notice thereof as required by law.
