ORDINANCE NO. 05-11

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 22 "TRAFFIC AND PARKING" OF THE BOROUGH OF HILLSDALE,

COUNTY OF BERGEN, STATE OF NEW JERSEY

BE IT ORDAINED, by the Borough Council of the Borough of Hillsdale as follows:

Section 1. Article 2 Parking, Stopping and Standing, generally: Section 22-13, "Parking limited from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. on certain streets during school days" is hereby amended and supplemented to add the following designated locations:

Street Side Time Limit Location

Everdell Avenue Both 1 hour on school days From Piermont to Hillsdale Ave.

Section 2. Article 10 Public Parks, Playgrounds, and School Grounds, generally Section 22-28 is hereby amended and supplemented to add the following designated locations:

No person shall park or leave standing a vehicle, other than a vehicle owned by the Borough, the Hillsdale Board of Education or the Pascack Valley Board of Education, within the boundary lines of any public park or playground, open space, school ground, municipal pool facility, or Borough owned property or facility, except in accordance with purpose of the facility, and in no event between the hours of 10:30 P.M. and 6 A.M., without the express permission of the owner.

Section 3. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not affect the remaining portions of this ordinance.

Section 4. All ordinances or any provisions of any ordinances inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed as to such inconsistencies and not otherwise.

Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective twenty (20) days after final passage and publication according to law.
