ORDINANCE 05-16

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING

CHAPTER 138, FEES OF THE CODE OF

THE BOROUGH OF HILLSDALE, COUNTY OF BERGEN,

STATE OF NEW JERSEY

BE IT ORDAINED by the council of the Borough of Hillsdale as follows:

SECTION 1 - Chapter 138 AFEES@ is amended and supplemented to include the following fees:

Use of Police personnel and Police vehicles by non-municipal and private entities

POLICE PERSONNEL

Pay Rate/Billing Rate: Time and a half

Employer Medicare: .0145 x Gross Salary (determined at time the service is rendered)

Administrative Fee: $10.00/day (cover cost of payroll processing & vendor billing)

Police Vehicles $8.50/hour (covers gas plus wear & tear)

SECTION 2. Severability and Effectiveness Clause.

If any sentence, paragraph or section of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any persons or circumstances shall be adjudged by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, or if by legislative action any sentence, paragraph or section of this ordinances shall lose its force and effect, such judgment or action shall not affect, impair or void the remainder of this ordinance.

SECTION 3. Effective Date.

This ordinance shall take effect after publication thereof after final passage in accordance with the provision of law.
