ORDINANCE NO. 07-26

TO AMEND ORDINANCE 07-20, SECTION 1, FEES IN WEST LOT OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE BOROUGH OF HILLSDALE

SECTION 1: Article 4. Chapter 22-17A. Parking Regulations of the Revised General Ordinances of the Borough of Hillsdale, County of Bergen and State of New Jersey is further amended to change the fee in Section 4, Penalty, as per P.L. 2004, c.62 establishing the Automated Traffic System Statewide Modernization Fund, the minimum payable amount for all parking and traffic offenses is increased to $17.00.

22.17 A. Fees in West Lot.

4. Penalty. For and in violation of the terms and conditions of the Ordinance a penalty of Seventeen ($17.00) Dollars per day is hereby imposed.

SECTION 2. Prior Inconsistent Ordinances Superseded. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contrary to or inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby superseded.

SECTION 3. Invalidity. If any section or provision of this Ordinance be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, preempted by Federal or State law, or otherwise invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the same shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any other section or provision hereof.

SECTION 4. Effect. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon final passage and publication, or otherwise as provided by law.
