ORDINANCE NUMBER 07-25

Title: An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 22 “Traffic and Parking” of the Borough Code of the Borough of Hillsdale

BE IT ORDAINED by the Borough Council of the Borough of Hillsdale, in the County of Bergen and State of New Jersey as follows:

SECTION 1: Article 2 Parking, Stopping and Standing, generally; Section 22-8, “Parking prohibited at all times” is hereby amended and supplemented to add the following designated locations:

Washington Avenue South No Parking Any Time From its intersection with Trinity

Place East to125 ft. east of Crosley

Terrace

Washington Avenue North No Parking Any Time From its intersection with

Kinderkamack Rd. 75 ft. West

Washington Avenue North No Parking Any Time From its intersection with

Kinderkamack Rd. 90 ft. East

SECTION 2. Article 2 Parking Limited on certain streets at certain times generally; Section 22-12 “Parking prohibited certain streets at certain times: is hereby amended and supplemented to add the following designated locations:

Hopper Street West 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. From Hillsdale Avenue South

(res. side) Saturday & Sunday to Washington Avenue

SECTION 3. Prior Inconsistent Ordinances Superseded. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contrary to or inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby superseded.

SECTION 4. Invalidity. If any section or provision of this Ordinance be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, preempted by Federal or State law, or otherwise invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the same shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any other section or provision hereof.

SECTION 5. Effect. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon final passage and publication, or otherwise as provided by law.
