ORDINANCE 08-14

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING

CHAPTER 138, FEES OF THE CODE OF

THE BOROUGH OF HILLSDALE

BE IT ORDAINED by the Borough Council that here forth Chapter 138 Fees is amended and supplemented to include the following fees:

SECTION 1:

Use of Police personnel and Police vehicles by non-municipal and private entities

POLICE PERSONNEL

Pay Rate/Billing Rate: Time and a half

Employer Medicare: .0145 x Gross Salary (determined at time the service is rendered)

Administrative Fee: 15% of Officers salary (to cover cost of payroll, processing & vendor billing)

POLICE VEHICLES

Daily rate: $20.00 per hour

SECTION 2:

Chapter 96, Animals

Article 1, Dogs From To

Borough registration license and tag $6.80 $8.80

Late fee $10.00 $15.00

Article II, Cats

Borough registration license and tag $8.00 $10.00

Late fee $10.00 $15.00

SECTION 3:

Chapter 224, Peddling and Soliciting From To

Each application, this is a non-refundable fee. $18.00 $25.00

Deposit for badge. With the return of the badge

to the Borough of Hillsdale the deposit will be

refundable only during the year after the expiration

date so indicated on the badge. After that period the

deposit is not refundable.

SECTION 4:

Chapter 260, Streets and Sidewalks From To

Street obstruction of any type container $6.00 $12.00

SECTION 5. Severability and Effectiveness Clause.

If any sentence, paragraph or section of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any persons or circumstances shall be adjudged by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, or if by legislative action any sentence, paragraph or section of this ordinances shall lose its force and effect, such judgment or action shall not affect, impair or void the remainder of this ordinance.

SECTION 6. Effective Date.

This ordinance shall take effect after publication thereof after final passage in accordance with the provision of law.
