RESOLUTION

Title: Award Bid for Self Contained Leaf Vacuum

WHEREAS, the Borough of Hillsdale issued specifications for the purchase of a 25 Cubic Yard Trailer Mounted Self Contained Vacuum leaf Collector; and

WHEREAS, the Borough of Hillsdale received bids for said vehicle on August 14, 2007; and

WHEREAS, ODB Company, submitted a bid in the amount of $28,900.00; and

WHEREAS, there has been filed with the Borough Council the certification required by the procedural resolution adopted by the Local Finance Board on October 20, 1975, pursuant to R.S. 52:27BB-10; Based upon the annexed certification of availability of funds, it is hereby determined that the funds required for the hereinafter authorized contract is appropriated in the Municipal Budget and that there shall remain under said appropriation a sufficient balance to pay for the expenditure hereby authorized;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Borough Council of the Borough of Hillsdale that the contract for a 25 Cubic Yard Trailer Mounted Self Contained Vacuum leaf Collector be awarded to ODB Company, 5118 Glen Alden Drive, Richmond, Va. 23231, and the Mayor and Borough Clerk are authorized to execute this purchase.
