RESOLUTION

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

 

Title: Supporting Bergen Swan’s Watershed Stewardship Roundtable Series

 

WHEREAS, the Roundtable Series will assist local municipalities in facing the threat of non-point source pollution and flooding; and

 

WHEREAS, Bergen Swan will design and install a demonstration rain garden in the Pascack Valley study area; and

 

WHEREAS, Bergen Swan is willing work with municipalities to identify a suitable site to demonstrate stream restoration or other storm water control measures; and

 

WHEREAS, the Borough of Hillsdale supports the initiative of Bergen Swan and desires to be an active participant; and

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,  the Borough of Hillsdale is committed to work with neighboring municipalities in the Pascack Valley toward improving streams and other waterways and shall involve town professionals to this cause.
