RESOLUTION

Title: Award Bid for Platform Dump Truck with Plow

 

WHEREAS, the Borough of Hillsdale issued specifications for the purchase of a 9’6” Heavy Duty Platform Dump Body with Snow Plow & Hydraulic Lift Gate Package; and

 

WHEREAS, the Borough of Hillsdale received bids for said vehicle on October 9, 2007; and

 

WHEREAS, Gordon Ford Inc., submitted a bid in the amount of $53,555.00; and

 

WHEREAS, there has been filed with the Borough Council the certification required by the procedural resolution adopted by the Local Finance Board on October 20, 1975, pursuant to R.S. 52:27BB-10;  Based upon the annexed certification of availability of funds, it is hereby determined that the funds required for the hereinafter authorized contract is appropriated in the Municipal Budget and that there shall remain under said appropriation a sufficient balance to pay for the expenditure hereby authorized;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Borough Council of the Borough of Hillsdale that the contract for a 9’6” Heavy Duty Platform Dump Body with Snow Plow & Hydraulic Lift Gate Package be awarded to Gordon Ford Inc., Route 9W, P.O. Box 613, W. Haverstraw, NY 10993, and the Mayor and Borough Clerk are authorized to execute this purchase.
