RESOLUTION

Title: Rescinding Certain Budget Transfers

 

WHEREAS, the Hillsdale Borough Council approved Resolution 07143 on November 5, 2007 which authorized the transfer of 2007 Budget Appropriation balances from accounts that has excess funds to accounts that required additional funds; and

 

WHEREAS, subsequently, the Borough’s CFO realized that two of the transfers were to Capitol Improvement Fund accounts which are not permitted to accept budget appropriation tranfers; and

 

            WHEREAS, the CFO discussed this matter with the Division of Local Government Services and was advised that, since neither any of the funds transferred to Capitol Improvement Fund accounts nor the related capitol accounts were spent, the Borough should pass two resolutions, one rescinding these transfers and a second emergency resolution setting up the funds needed in the Capital Improvement Funds.          

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hillsdale Borough Council authorize and direct the CFO to rescind the following, previously approved budget transfers, heretofore attached and part of this resolution.
