ENDORSEMENT

OF A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT GRANT APPLICATION BY THE HILLSDALE BOARD OF EDUCATION FOR BARRIER-FREE ACCESSIBILITY

TO THE UPPER ANN BALNCHE SMITH SCOOL FIELDS

WHEREAS, a Bergen County Community Development Block Grant application of $52,390.00 is proposed by the Hillsdale Board of Education for barrier-free accessibility to the Ann Blanche Smith School Upper Fields in the Borough of Hillsdale, and

WHEREAS, the Board of Education owns the lands upon which the proposed improvements are to be made and must therefore make the application to the County, and

WHREAS, the aforesaid project is in the best interests of the people of the Borough of Hillsdale, and

WHEREAS, this resolution does not obligate financial resources of the Borough of Hillsdale or the Hillsdale Board of Education and is intended solely to expedite the expenditure of aforesaid funds.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RERSOLVED, that the Governing Body of the Borough of Hillsdale herby confirms endorsement of the aforesaid project and authorizes the Borough Engineer to prepare and submit the grant application on behalf of the Board of Education, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution shall be sent to the Director of the Bergen County Community Development Program so that implementation of the aforesaid project may be expedited.
