Title:
Authorizing Agreement with Old Tappan for Senior Van
WHEREAS, the Borough of Hillsdale
wishes to enter into an agreement with the Borough of Old Tappan to lease a 14
passenger van to provide transportation to seniors and other similar services;
and
WHEREAS, the Borough of Old Tappan
agrees to lease this vehicle to Hillsdale two days per week for a monthly
payment of $650.00. Hillsdale will
provide the driver on these days, schedule the bus route, and return the bus
with a full tank of gasoline and in a cleaned condition; and
WHEREAS, Old Tappan shall provide
automobile insurance for the senior van and its drivers, Hillsdale shall provide
insurance for its drivers; and
WHEREAS, the term of this agreement
shall be from January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2007; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that
the Mayor is authorized to execute this agreement with Old Tappan.
