RESOLUTION

Title: Authorize the Borough Engineer to Apply for a Bergen County Open Space Trust Grant for Memorial Field Improvements

 

WHEREAS, the Borough of Hillsdale’s Mayor and Council wish to apply for a Bergen County Municipal Open Space Grant in the amount of $65,000.00 to make improvements to Memorial Field; and

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Borough Engineer, Christopher Statile, is authorized to prepare and submit this application; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council hereby authorizes Harold Karns to sign all County vouchers submitted in connection with the aforesaid project; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council recognizes that the Borough of Hillsdale is liable for a dollar for dollar match for any funds awarded in accordance with the Trust requirements.
