RESOLUTION

Title: Authorize Agreement with Bergen County Open Space Trust Grant for Centennial Field Trail/Bike Path

 

WHEREAS, the Borough of Hillsdale’s Mayor and Council wish to apply for a Bergen County Municipal Open Space Grant in the amount of $60,000.00 for the Centennial Field Trail/Bike Path improvements; and

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council hereby authorizes Mayor Deutsch to be the signatory to the aforementioned grant agreement; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council hereby authorizes Harold Karns to sign all County vouchers submitted in connection with the aforesaid project; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council recognizes that the Borough of Hillsdale is liable for a dollar for dollar match for any funds awarded in accordance with the Trust requirements.
