RESOLUTION

Title: Authorize Agreement with Bergen County for Open Space Trust Fund Grant for Acquisition of Weinberger Property (100 St. Nicholas Ave.)

 

WHEREAS, the Borough of Hillsdale is desirous to enter into an agreement with the County of Bergen for the award of a $125,000.00 grant for the acquisition of 100 St. Nicholas Avenue, Block 2101, Lot 29 from the 2006 Bergen County Open Space, Recreation, Farmland and Historic Preservation Trust Fund; and

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council hereby agree to said agreement with Bergen County and will execute a Deed of Conservation Easement on the aforementioned properties at the time of closing title to the property.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Mayor Dennis Deutsch is authorized to be a signatory to the aforementioned grant agreement; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Harold Karns is authorized to sign all County vouchers submitted in connection with the aforesaid project
