RESOLUTION

Title: N.J. State Firemen’s Association’s Annual Convention Expenses

WHEREAS, the New Jersey State Firemen’s Association annual convention is held during September of 2007, and it is the Fire Chief’s duty to attend; and

WHEREAS, it has been customary for the Borough of Hillsdale to provide for such expense and in addition to provide for the attendance at the Annual Convention of several Life Members of the N.J. State Firemen’s Association; and

WHEREAS, the sum of $3,000 has been included in the 2007 budget for such purposes;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Borough Council of the Borough of Hillsdale that the sum of $3,000 be evenly allocated as an advance for the Life Members of the Hillsdale Fire Department who attend the convention for the N.J. State Firemen’s Association’s Annual Convention expenses and that supporting details and certification be submitted to the Borough Treasurer within ten (10) days after completion of the traveling for which an advance was made, as required by N.J.S. 40A:5-16.1.
