RESOLUTION

Title: Award Contract for the 2008 Road Improvement
Program
WHEREAS, the Borough of Hillsdale issued specifications for
its 2008 Road Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, the Borough of Hillsdale received bids for the 2009
Road Improvement Program on April 30, 2008; and
WHEREAS, there has been filed with the Borough Council the
Certification required by the procedural resolution adopted by the Local
Finance Board on October 20, 1975, pursuant to R.S. 52:27BB-10;
Based
upon the annexed certification of funds, it is hereby determined that the funds
required for the hereinafter authorized contract are appropriated in the 2008
Municipal Budget under the caption of “2008 Street Improvement Program”, and 2008
NJ Transportation Trust Fund” and that there shall remain in said
appropriations a sufficient balance to pay the expenditures hereby authorized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Hillsdale authorize the 2008 Road Improvement
Contract to be awarded to:
English Paving Co. Inc.
The
award is conditioned upon the review and approval of the New Jersey Department
of Transportation. When this condition
is satisfied, the Mayor and Borough Clerk are authorized to execute a contract
with English Paving Co. Inc. in the amount of $116,485.27.
