RESOLUTION

Title: To Amend the Adopted Budget for Additional
Items of Revenue & Offsetting Appropriation (Chapter 159)
WHEREAS, N.J.S.40A:4-87 Provides
that the Director of the Division of Local government Services may approve the
insertion of any special item of revenue in the budget of any county or
municipality when such item shall have been made available by law and the
amount thereof was not determined at the time of the adoption of the budget;
and
WHEREAS, said Director may also
approve the insertion of an item of appropriation for an equal amount; and
WHEREAS, the Borough of Hillsdale has
received notice of an award of $40,000.00 from Bergen County Department of
Community Development and wishes to amend its 2009 Budget to include this
amount as revenue;
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE BOROUGH OF HILLSDALE, MAYOR AND COUNCIL, IN
THE COUNTY OF BERGEN AND STATE OF NEW JERSEY on this 8th day of September 2009,
hereby requests the Director of the Division of Local Government Services to
approve the insertion of an item of revenue in the budget for the year 2009 in
the sum of $40,000.00 which is now available from the County of Bergen in the
amount of $40,000.00.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the like sum of $40,000.00 be and the same is
hereby appropriated under the caption: ADA Improvements to Borough Hall.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the above is the result of funds from the
Council member
