RESOLUTION

Title: Endorsement of a Community Development Project Grant Application for Supplemental Funding for Barrier-Free Accessibility to Borough Hall.

 

WHEREAS, a Bergen County Community Development Block Grant application of  $25,000 is proposed by the Borough of Hillsdale for supplemental funding for barrier-free improvements at the Town Hall in the Borough of Hillsdale, and

 

WHEREAS, pursuant to the State Interlocal Services Act, Community Development funds may not be spent in a municipality without authorization by the Governing Body,

 

WHEREAS, the aforesaid project is in the best interests of the people of the Borough of Hillsdale, and

 

WHEREAS, this resolution does not obligate financial resources of the Borough of Hillsdale and is intended solely to expedite the expenditure of aforesaid CD funds.

 

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Governing Body of the Borough of Hillsdale herby confirms endorsement of the aforesaid project and authorizes Christopher P. Statile, P.A. to prepare and submit the grant application on behalf of the Borough of Hillsdale, and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution shall be sent to the Director of the Bergen County Community Development Program so that implementation of the aforesaid project may be expedited.
