RESOLUTION

Title: Consenting to an Amendment to the BCUA Wastewater Management Plan

 

WHEREAS, the Bergen County Utilities Authority desires to provide for the orderly development of wastewater facilities within its wastewater planning area; and

 

WHEREAS, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection requires that proposed wastewater treatment and conveyance facilities and wastewater treatment services areas, as well as related subjects, be in conformance with an approved WQM plan; and

 

WHEREAS, the NJDEP has established the WQM plan amendment procedure as the method of incorporating unplanned facilities into a WQM plan; and

 

WHEREAS, a proposed WQM plan amendment noticed in the New Jersey Register on February 19, 2008 for the Bergen County Utilities Authority Wastewater Management Plan, dated March 2007, has been prepared by Malcolm Pirnie, Inc.; and

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,  the Borough of Hillsdale Council hereby consents to the amendment entitled: Bergen County Utilities Authority Wastewater Management Plan, dated March 2007, and publicly noticed on February 19, 2008, prepared by Malcolm Pirnie, Inc. for the purpose of its incorporation into the applicable WQM plan(s).  This consent shall be submitted to the NJDEP in accordance with N.J.A.C. 7:15-3,4
