RESOLUTION

Title: Award Seasonal Opening & Closure of Swim Pool Contract

WHEREAS, the Borough of Hillsdale advertised for sealed bids for the Seasonal Opening and Closure of the Municipal Swim Pool in the Borough of Hillsdale, pursuant to specifications issued in November 2008; and

WHEREAS, the Swim Pool Management has reviewed the proposals received in response to said advertisement; and

WHEREAS, there has been filed with the Borough Council the certification required by the procedural resolution adopted by the Local Finance Board on October 20, 1975, pursuant to R.S. 52:27BB-10; based upon the annexed certification of availability of funds, it is hereby determined that the funds required for the hereinafter authorized contract is appropriated in the Municipal Budget and that there shall remain under said appropriation a sufficient balance to pay for the expenditure hereby authorized for the year 2009;

WHEREAS, expenditures for the 2009 aforesaid contract is subject to the year 2009 budget adoption and Borough Finance Officer certification.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Borough Council of the Borough of Hillsdale shall award a two year contract for the Seasonal Opening and Closure of the Municipal Pool as set forth in bid specifications aforementioned to Lehmann Pools & Spas, 644 Wyckoff Avenue, Mahwah, NJ 07430 for a two year total of $158,700.00.
