RESOLUTION

Title:
WHEREAS, that the Mayor and Council of Borough of Hillsdale wishes to enter a grant agreement with the County of Bergen for the purpose of using $33,385.00 in 2009/20010 Open Space Trust Funds for making improvements to the St. Nicholas Pond; and
WHEREAS, the Borough of Hillsdale desires to enhance a well utilized, passive park setting by incorporating new hardscape, benches, tables, lighting, and landscaping improvements; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLED, that the Mayor and Council hereby authorize Victor Polce, Borough Administrator to be a signatory to the aforesaid grant agreement; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council hereby authorize Victor Polce, Borough Administrator to sign all County vouchers submitted in connection with the aforesaid project; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council recognizes that the Borough of Hillsdale is liable for a dollar to dollar match for any funds awarded in accordance with the Open Space Trust requirements.
