RESOLUTION

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

 

Title: Awarding Tree and Stump Removal Contract

 

WHEREAS, the Borough of Hillsdale advertised for sealed bids for Tree and Stump Removal in public areas for the Borough of Hillsdale, pursuant to specifications issued February 2009; and

 

WHEREAS, the Borough Council has reviewed the proposals received in response to said advertisement; and

 

 WHEREAS, the Borough Finance Officer has filed a certification for the year 2009 as required by the procedural resolution adopted by the Local Finance Board pursuant to R.S.52:27BB-10 to the Borough Council; and

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Borough Council of the Borough of Hillsdale as follows:

1.         The lowest responsible bidder for Tree and Stump Removal at various locations in the Borough of Hillsdale as set forth in bid proposal is:

 

 

 

 

Year 1 –

Year 2 – (2010) subject to Budget Adoption and Borough Finance Officer certification

 

2.         The project consists of the removal of various sized trees and stumps within the public right-of-way on lands in the Borough of Hillsdale.

3.         The work will consist of furnishing all plant, labor, material, tools and equipment necessary for or incidental to the proper completion of the work.

4.         The Borough reserves the right to omit, increase or decrease any items within the scope of the contract.
