Title: Authorize
Mayor to Sign Contract for Cleaning Services
WHEREAS, the Borough of Hillsdale is
in need of cleaning services for the Municipal buildings; and
WHEREAS, NMS Inc. (National
Maintenance Service, Inc.) is a recognized leader of Cleaning Services; and
WHEREAS, there has been filed with
the Borough Council the certification required by the procedural resolution
adopted by the Local Finance Board on October 20, 1975, pursuant to R.S.
52:27BB-10; based upon the annexed certification of availability of funds, it
is hereby determined that the funds required for the hereinafter authorized
contract is appropriated in the Municipal Budget and that there shall remain
under said appropriation a sufficient balance to pay for the expenditure hereby
authorized for the year 2010; and
WHEREAS, expenditures for the 2010
aforesaid contract is subject to the year 2010 Budget adoption and Borough Finance
Officer certification.; and
WHEREAS, the Borough of Hillsdale has
received quotes for these services and is being awarded to the lowest bidder –
National Maintenance Service, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the contract shall be
effective from January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010 and the annual cost shall
be $28,200.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, Mayor
Sapanara is hereby authorized to sign the contract with National Maintenance Services,
Inc.,
