RESOLUTION

Title: Authorize Payment of Year End Penalty to Lienholder

 

WHEREAS, the Tax Collector held a Tax Sale on October 17, 2006 and a lien was sold on Block 301, Lot 15, also known as 162 Paul Court, Hillsdale for 2005 Delinquent Taxes; and

 

WHEREAS, this lien, known as Tax Sale Certificate 06-001 was sold to Crusader Servicing Corporation; and

 

            WHEREAS, Crusader Servicing Corporation erroneously paid the 6% year end penalty of $659.53 with interest of $82.11 prior to the penalty being adjusted to the lien on December 31, 2007; and

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Borough Council that the Tax Collector is authorized to issue a check in the amount of $741.64 payable to Crusader Servicing Corporation, 179 Washington Lane, Jenkintown, Pa 19046 for the refund of said payment.
