Title:
Authorize Expert Appraiser Expenditure for Tax Appeal Matters
WHEREAS, that the Hillsdale Borough
Council has appointed Christopher E. Martin, Morrison Mahoney, 2001 Route 46,
Suite 200, Parsippany, NJ 07054 as Attorney for Tax Appeals for the year 2010;
and
WHEREAS, it has been determined at
the advice of the Borough’s tax appeal counsel that the Borough of Hillsdale
requires expert appraiser services as to matters related to tax appeal actions
in Superior Court;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, by
the governing body of the Borough of Hillsdale that the Borough hereby
authorizes the Borough tax appeal attorney, Christopher E. Martin, Esq., to
order appraisal services from the Borough’s expert appraiser as needed to
defend Borough tax assessment, in an amount not to exceed a total of $5,000.00.
