RESOLUTION

Title: Approve Refund for Various Tax Overpayments

 

WHEREAS, as a result of refinancing various duplicate tax payments were made by First American Real Estate Tax Service for the year 2009; and

 

WHEREAS, said duplicate tax payments are as follows:

 

Richard & Shane Svorec, 52 Brookview Terrace, Block 603, Lot 7 for $3,048.33

John & Dena Noone, 260 Magnolia Avenue, Block 1518, Lot 15 for $2,232.00

Jae Y. Lee & Young E. Shim, 24 Schumacher Avenue, Block 1910, Lot 19 for $2,455.00

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council hereby authorize the Tax Collector to refund $7,735.33 to First American Real Estate Tax Service, 1 First American Way, Westlake, Tx 76262.
