ONGOING EVENTS IN HILLSDALE
A list and description of all the townwide events and activities available for the residents in Hillsdale.
EGG HUNT
A holiday egg hunt for all ages. Bring a basket to collect your eggs, and a camera to take pictures with the Easter Bunny! Held at Beechwood Park on a Saturday before Easter.
MEMORIAL DAY PARADE
Join us on Memorial Day in downtown Hillsdale. Parade commences at George White Middle School, and continues on backstreets towards Shoprite. Parade then descends along Broadway and finishes at Veteran's Park. Held the Monday of Memorial Day weekend.
STONYBROOK SWIM CLUB
Hillsdale offers a beautiful pool facility for you and your family to enjoy from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Contact 201-358-5065 for more information.
HILLSDALE & RIVER VALE SUMMER DAY CAMP
A full day camp for children going into grades 1-9. Campers enjoy taking classes such as scrap booking, lacrosse, dance and mad science; also attend Stonybrook Swim Club and go on field trips. Information available online and at the Hillsdale Borough Hall in April.
HILLSDALE'S DAY IN THE PARK
A free, annual event for residents of Hillsdale. Enjoy face painters, a petting zoo and picnic food. You can also visit displays by local vendors in town, as well as, meet your council people!
RAGAMUFFIN PARADE
Goblins and Ghouls and Witches, oh my! Children are invited to parade from the Hillsdale Fire Department to George White School in full costume for our annual Halloween event. A magician performs after the parade, and goody bags are handed out!
HOLIDAY LIGHTING
Tis the season to celebrate with your friends and family in Hillsdale as we light Veteran's Park in honor of the holidays. Hot chocolate, coffee and donuts are provided, and a visit from a special guest hightlights the event. Held in December. |
