NOTICE TO BIDDERS

BOROUGH OF HILLSDALE, BERGEN COUNTY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that sealed bids for the STONYBROOK SWIM CLUB FALL POOL LEASE PROGRAM will be received by the Borough Clerk and publicly opened and read in the Council Chambers in the Municipal Building, 380 Hillsdale Avenue, Hillsdale, NJ on March 19, 2025 10:30 am, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be reached. Bids can be requested by emailing the Borough Clerk, Denise Kohan at dkohan@hillsdalenj.org or by coming to Borough Hall located at 380 Hillsdale Avenue Hillsdale, NJ 07642 between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. **BIDS WILL BE AVAILABLE STARTING FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2025 AT 8:00 AM.***

All bids must be submitted in the form of proposal prescribed by the Borough. Said forms of proposal, together with contract specifications are on file in the office of the Borough Clerk at the Municipal Building, and may be examined during regular business hours. All proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check to the order of the Borough in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or $20,000.00, whichever is less, for each bid submitted. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1977, c. 33, Laws of 1977 regarding disclosure of Partners and Stockholders, and P.L. 1975, c. 127. regarding Affirmative Action, Executive Order 11246 regarding Equal Opportunity. Bidders must furnish a list of subcontractors to be used on the project. This bid solicitation is made in a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5 et. seq. Pursuant to P.L. 2004 c.57, all bids must be accompanied by a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue. The failure to include a business registration certificate is a material defect which cannot be waived. The proposal shall also contain consent of surety agreement under which the surety company agrees to provide a performance and payment bond if the contract is awarded to its principal. All bids shall be irrevocable and shall not be subject to withdrawal for any reason for a period of sixty (60) days following the date fixed for the opening thereof. The Borough of Hillsdale reserves the right to waive immaterial informalities in any bid or to reject all bids if the best interest of the Borough so requires.
