All coaches, regardless of being a head coach or an assistant coach, must follow the safety requirements below.
 
Coaching Safety Requirements:
All Coaches must have the following paperwork completed before coaching.
You must register as a Coach on Community Pass.

1. Finger printing (every 3 years) - Click here for form to go online to make appointment
2. Rutgers Safety Certification - to sign up for a class go to https://youthsports.rutgers.edu/courses/list
3. Concussion Certificate - free, online class. Go to: www.cdc.gov/headsup/youthsports/coach.html
4. Code of Conduct (done when register as a Coach on Community Pass)

In the busy season of sports the finger printing appointments could take up to 2 weeks, so email early to get this completed before the sports season begins.
 
 

Hillsdale Soccer Association (HSA)

The Hillsdale Soccer Association is an independent sports association that administers the recreational soccer program for grades Pre-K through 8th grade. The season runs from September through November. There is also Indoor soccer January through March.  In addition, there is a Spring Pre-K clinic Saturday mornings starting in April. All players must be 3 prior to the start of the program and must not be currently attending kindergarten.

Pascack Lacrosse is an independent sports program. It is open to boys & girls in grades 2 through 8 from Hillsdale, Montvale, River Vale & Woodcliff Lake. Season runs from March until the end of May. Travel league play versus other programs. Players must have a US Lacrosse membership. Pascack Valley Jr. Wrestling

This program is now an independent sports association and not run through Hillsdale Recreation. Open to Hillsdale and  River Vale Residents offering a fun and supportive environment where boys and girls can learn the fundamentals of wrestling, build confidence, and stay active. Kindergarten to 8th grades. Instructional and Competitive League. Program runs December - February. Register online for the 2025-26 season at:

Hillsdale Hoops Association

Hillsdale Hoops is an independent travelling basketball program.  We are not affiliated with the town recreation basketball program.  Our goal is to provide an atmosphere where participants can learn the skills of basketball, good sportsmanship and team play, in a more competitive environment while traveling to other towns. We offer teams for boys and girls in grades 3-8. The Hillsdale Hoops Association is so excited to announce that registration is officially open for the 2025-2026 travel season!  Please use the link below to register your child(ren)! Hillsdale Baseball and Softball Association (HBSA)

 The Hillsdale Baseball and Softball Association is an independent sports association. HBSA offers: T-Ball (grades Pre-K4 & Kindergarten - boys and girls play together), Baseball - (grades 1 to 9 for boys) and Softball (grades 1 to 9 for girls). *Please note* 9th graders are only eligible if NOT playing Baseball or Softball in High School.   For more information, please email: hbsa2011@gmail.com

Hillsdale Football & Cheerleader Association (HFA)

The Hillsdale Hawks Football and Cheer Association is an independent sports association and proud member of the Bergen County Junior Football League (BCJFL). The football and cheer programs are open to children in grades 1-8 who reside in Hillsdale, Montvale, and Woodcliff Lake.
