Commuter Parking Lots

Non- Resident Parking Permit
The Borough of Hillsdale, in conjunction with New Jersey Transit, offers parking for commuters who travel the Pascack Valley Line or the bus line. There are two marked parking lots, located next to King’s Shopping Plaza and adjacent to the railroad tracks and located on Winkler Way between Hillsdale Avenue and Park Avenue, also adjacent to the
railroad tracks. Pursuant to Borough Ordinance 22-17D, parking in these lots requires a NJ Transit parking sticker until 10 A.M. weekdays. The 2023 NJ Transit parking permits will be available to area residents online by clicking here, 24 hours a day, everyday beginning at December 20, 2023. The parking permit cost is $606.00 per calendar year. The fee is reduced after July 1st through December 31st to $455.00
These, as well as all Borough parking lots are monitored by the Police Department to ensure compliance.
Violators may receive a summons or be towed at the owner’s expense.
NJ Transit Daily Parking is available at adjoining the railroad tracks between Hillsdale and Washington Avenues.

§ 218-27. Availability of lots.
The Hillsdale Railroad Station parking lots shall be reserved for use by persons possessing the necessary parking stickers or paying the daily fee between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, except on legal holidays. Parking is not permitted in the Hillsdale Railroad Station parking lots between the hours-of 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., or when otherwise prohibited for snow removal purposes.
