Parking for the 2024-2025 School Year

Historically, Pascack Valley High School students in grades eleven and twelve have enjoyed the privilege of parking at Stonybrook Swim Club. However, concerns regarding reckless driving and littering by students last year jeopardized our ability to continue. The school administration has been working closely with swim club representatives to address these issues. Your cooperation is crucial in ensuring the continued availability of this valuable resource.

As a result, as per the Stonybrook Swim Club, the following changes are going to be implemented:

Parking Permit Requirement: Students wishing to park at Stonybrook Swim Club must obtain a parking permit. Permits will be issued on a case-by-case basis and will be subject to review and potential revocation if any parking rules are violated. The details below provide instructions on how to obtain a parking permit. 

Parking Rules: Students must adhere to all posted parking regulations at Stonybrook Swim Club, including designated parking spaces, speed limits, and no littering. Failure to comply with these rules will result in the loss of parking privileges. Furthermore, the parking lot will be patrolled, and tickets will be issued for non-compliance. 

Fee: If you wish to park at Stonybrook Swim Club, there will be a yearly fee of fifty dollars to cover the additional costs, which include, but are not limited to, the administrative and lot maintenance work, including snow plowing.

It is imperative that you understand the severity of last year's events and the importance of maintaining a positive relationship with Stonybrook Swim Club. I am optimistic that you will comply with these expectations so we can continue this arrangement and maintain this privilege. Lastly, please note that parking will begin on Tuesday, September 3rd.    

 

STUDENT PARKING PERMIT FOR STONYBROOK PARKING LOT

 

Step 1- How to Create an Account:

  1. Go to https://register.communitypass.net/Hillsdale
  2. From the login homepage click on the “Create an Account” tab.
  3. On the next page complete the Information fields and click on Create at the bottom of the page. 
  4. On the next page you will see the Community Pass Privacy Statement. After reading, click ‘Accept.’ Then click ‘Finish.’   
  5. Please save your login and password for future use.

 

Step 2- How to Register for your Parking Permit:

  1. Under the Borough of Hillsdale, Click the ‘Click Here to Register’ button.
  2. Select 2024-2025 Stonybrook Student Parking Permit “Continue”.
  3. Review account information, click continue.
  4. Verify email address, click continue.
  5. Select Participant (driver), then Click Continue.
  6. Select 2024-2025 Stonybrook Student Parking Permit, click continue.
  7. Fill out the form, click continue. Read policies and Agreements, Sign and continue to payment. Complete transaction.
  8. You will be emailed when your permit is ready.
