The Seniors Department offers a variety of Senior Activities and Luncheons

 The Boroughs of Woodcliff Lake and Hillsdale are sharing a brand new van for the Seniors of both towns.
Van runs Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9AM-2PM.

Annual Egg Hunt

 Saturday, April 19th

Time: 9:00 - 10:30am

Location: Beechwood Park, 150 Hillsdale Avenue

Free Admission. Open to all Hillsdale children.

New this year, there will be a show after the hunt!!

Kids Cooking & Crafting with the Crafty Kitchen

is back by popular demand!

We are offering two Spring classes:

Thursday, March 12th

Read Across America Month -

From Scratch Pizza & Wooden bookmark craft

and

Thursday, April 30th

Breakfast for Mom (perfect for Mother's Day) -

Homemade Bagels & Flowerpot craft

Located at the Crafty Kitchen in Emerson

Session 1: Grades K-3rd from 4:00-5:15pm

Session 2: Grades 4-6th from 6:00-7:15pm

Fee: $30 plus tax

Can sign up for both classes.

 Hillsdale Recreation in partnership with Andrea Collier present:

Athletic Yoga - Program full

For anyone ages 18 to adult looking for a more active class.

Andrea is a certified Yoga instructor. 

Registration for Session 2 is now open to all.

Everyone will go on a waitlist until we have final counts.

Fees will be based on # of registrants. 

You will be contacted with fee & method of payment.

Classes held at Hillsdale United Methodist Church

Hillsdale Recreation in partnership with Release Yoga offers:

Outdoor Mommy or Caregiver and Me Yoga in the Park

Get some fresh air while you bond with your child(ren)

under our bandshell at Beechwood Park. 

No experience needed!

Ages up to 5 years old

This 5 week program runs on Wednesday

mornings in May/June.

Women's Recreation 18+ Basketball

Pickup style; come to as many as you can!

Registration now open on Community Pass

Location: George White Main Gym

Tuesdays, April 1st - June 3rd  

Non-Competitive style 7:00-8:00pm

Competitive style 8:00-9:00pm

Fee: $65.00 

Must be paid in full prior to playing.

The Hillsdale Recreation Commission is looking for

one additional Hillsdale resident student from Pascack Valley High School

to become the new High School Representatives for the Commission.

These volunteer positions will start January 2025.

Meetings are held the first Monday of the month at 6:30pm.

Come learn what we do to shape the programming, events, parks and fields. 

Share the information with the students of PV.

Special Needs Spring Track Registration now open

Located at PVHS Track, 200 Piermont Avenue, Hillsdale

Navigators ages 5 - 18

Voyagers ages 18+

Fee: $35

 Pascack Valley Navigators is looking for 

student mentors who love track

and want to work with our special needs children.

Help them with modified drills and skills

in our Spring Track program led by Adult Coaches.

Session runs at the PVHS track on Sunday's

Dates: 4/6, 13 & 27, 5/4 & 18, 6/1 & 8

Time: 1:00-2:30pm.

Come to as many sessions as you can.

Community Chess Club Clinic

Registration for Spring Session is Open. 

Mondays from March 31st - May 19th (no class 4/14)

3 Classes will be offered:

Beginner: Kids 5 - 8 at 4:00

Beginner: Kids 9 - 14 at 5:00

Intermediate: Kids 8 - 12 at 4:00

Run by New Jersey Sports Academy LLC

Fingerprinting is required by Borough Ordinance as well as

taking the Rutgers Safety Clinic class and getting the Concussion certification.
