WHAT'S HAPPENING IN HILLSDALE
This program provides property tax relief to New Jersey residents who own or rent property in New Jersey as their principal residence and meet certain income limits. The current filing season for the ANCHOR benefit is based on 2021 residency, income, and age.
If you received the ANCHOR Homeowner Benefit last year, you should have received a letter which were mailed starting the week of August 19. If your details have not changed, no action is needed. To update your address or bank information you must file online by September 15, 2024.
If you are new to the program those applications will be mailed to eligible residents starting the week of August 26 and the deadline to submit your application will be November 30, 2024.
Payments to eligible residents will be made in the Fall. For further information please use this link which is to the State of New Jersey Department of Taxation website.

The Hillsdale 125th Anniversary Committee is excited to announce that at the request of so many members of the community we are reopening the opportunity to order commemorative bricks for our pathway in Veteran's Park. All orders must be placed by 10/15. Bricks cost $40 and include three lines of text with up to 18 characters per line, including spaces. Please use all capital letters. Your message can include your family name, be in memory of a loved one, or express a positive message about Hillsdale. Please use the following link to place your order.

ONLY VOTERS WITH ACTIVE VOTE BY MAIL REQUESTS WILL RECEIVE THEIR BALLOTS WITHIN 3 DAYS. VOTERS WITH ACTIVE REQUESTS WHO DO NOT RECEIVE THEIR BALLOTS WITHIN A WEEK SHOULD CALL 201-336-7020 TO REQUEST A DUPLICATE.
