50+ Club - MEETING ON SECOND THURSDAY OF THE MONTH!
Contact Judy Atchison at cell #201-879-4360. The 50+ Club meets the second Thursday of each month from 12:00 PM - 1:45 PM at the Hillsdale United Methodist Church
located at 349 Hillsdale Avenue.
The Club is a social, non-sectarian organization for residents over 50 years old providing socialization, trips and special events. Membership is $10/year.

Hillsdale Helping Hillsdale
Senior Movies - A free event held the last Wednesday of every month (except July & August) at the Hillsdale Public Library. Please bring a lunch. Coffee is provided. Movie starts at 12:00 noon, no reservations are required. There is no Senior Cinema in November and December.
Good day Program.
Registered seniors' phone the Police Department every day by 11:00 AM to check in. The police dispatcher will attempt to contact the resident by phone if they haven't called in. If they cannot reach the resident, an officer will be sent to the home. Applications are available at the Police Headquarters or call 201-664-4200.

THE SENIOR VAN SERVICE IS RUNNING
The Borough offers Hillsdale seniors and disabled residents free van transportation within Pascack Valley on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays (Food shopping day) from 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM.
Please make your reservation by calling 201-391-4977 x 200. You must leave your name, address, phone number, destination, appointment date and pick-up time. We encourage you to use this service for local doctors' appointments, food shopping, errands, hair appointments and trips to the post office and bank. Please no tipping. If you have a question about the van, please call 201-391-4977 x200.

Bergen County Senior Van Service
Bergen County operates a van service for seniors over 60 or the disabled with a doctor's note. Hours are Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Reservations two weeks in advance to go anywhere in Bergen County. The service is free, but a $1.00 donation is requested. Call 201-368-5955 for reservations.
